The designer’s bible of printing processes. A small publication created by Year 2 Communication Design Students at the OP School of Design.
This book was printed on a Risograph E2570a and produced as part of an editorial team in collaboration other design students. Editorial entailed; cover design, titles/subtitles, sourcing copyright information, contents, introduction, acknowledgements and the colophon as well as overseeing proofing. The book is compiled of a series of spreads – each focused on a specific aspect of the printing process and its context; in terms of its history and insights for the future.
It was a huge project for all involved but an exceptional outcome, with the final product being displayed for a week in an exhibition at the Dunedin Central Library.
